Door entry systems

Let the right people in, from anywhere.

Modern audio and video door entry for communal entrances and apartment blocks. Residents see and speak to callers and release the door from a handset or their phone, while you keep one clean record of who has access.

Audio entry

Reliable voice intercom from the communal panel to a handset in every flat. The proven, low-cost way to replace a failing system or fit out a new block.

Video entry

A camera at the entrance lets residents see who is calling before they release the door. Better security and fewer unwanted visitors getting buzzed in.

App & remote answering

Answer the door, see the visitor and let them in from a smartphone, wherever the resident happens to be. Ideal for busy leaseholders and trade release.

Access control

Decide who goes where, and prove it.

From a single secured door to a multi-site estate, we install access control that lets you grant, schedule and revoke entry in seconds, with a full audit log of every door. For offices, commercial premises and communal residential.

Fob & card

Proximity fobs and cards presented to a reader. Lost a fob? Revoke it instantly and issue a new one, no locks to change.

Keypad & PIN

Coded entry where fobs are not practical. Simple to manage, easy to change, and quick to deploy on plant rooms and back-of-house doors.

Biometric

Fingerprint or face recognition for high-security doors, removing the cost and risk of lost or shared credentials.

Mag locks & strikes

Magnetic locks and electric strikes specified to fail safe, so doors release on a fire signal and keep escape routes clear.

Barriers & turnstiles

Speed gates, turnstiles and vehicle barriers to control flow through receptions, car parks and secure perimeters.

Cloud multi-door

Manage every door across one or many sites from a browser. Add users, set time schedules and pull audit logs from anywhere.

02Access Control
One system, every door

Access control that scales with the building.

We design the scheme, install the readers, locks and controllers, and set up the management software so your team can run it day to day. Local for a single building, cloud-managed when you need to control multiple sites and keep an audit trail.

Designed to work with your fire strategy

Locked doors that always release in a fire.

Every locked door is part of the fire strategy. We wire door entry and access control so that on a fire signal the right doors fail safe and release, keeping escape routes open, and we integrate it cleanly with your fire alarm systems and AOV smoke ventilation.

Fail-safe release

Locks specified to drop open on a fire alarm signal, so no one is ever held behind a secured door.

Fire alarm linked

Interfaced to the fire alarm panel so detection and door release act as one coordinated system.

AOV aware

Specified alongside your smoke ventilation so doors and vents work together, not against each other.

Documented & tested

Commissioned, proven and handed over with the paperwork the responsible person needs.

Good questions

What building managers ask us.

Can door entry integrate with the fire alarm for emergency release?

Yes. We wire the door entry and access control so that on a fire alarm signal the relevant doors fail safe and release, keeping escape routes open. The system is designed to sit alongside your fire alarm and AOV strategy, not fight it.

Can residents in an apartment block answer the door from an app?

Yes. Modern video door entry systems let residents answer a call, see the visitor and release the door from a smartphone app, as well as from a handset in the flat. It suits leaseholders who are out a lot, or blocks where you do not want to run new cabling to every flat.

Can you replace an old or failing intercom?

Almost always. Most of our door entry work is replacing tired audio-only systems with modern audio or video entry, often reusing existing risers and cabling to keep disruption and cost down. We survey first and tell you exactly what can be kept and what needs replacing.

Should we choose cloud or local access control?

Local systems keep everything on site and are simple for a single door or building. Cloud-managed systems let you add or revoke fobs, set time schedules and pull audit logs from anywhere, across multiple sites. We will recommend the right fit for how you actually manage the building.

Do door entry and access control need maintenance?

Yes. Locks, readers, panels and power supplies all wear, and the fire-release integration must keep working. We offer planned servicing and reactive call-outs so the system stays reliable and the emergency release is proven, year after year.
